Incorrectly identified as Iris histrioides George as a
result of misinformation by the KAVB.It is NOT a form of histrioides. It
is actually a hybrid involving histrioides. This is what gives it, its wide flower parts.
Hybridized by William van Eeden and
named in honour of Dr. George Rodionenko for all
of his work on the Genus Iris.
